ACC Eligibility Requirements
To earn your ACC credential, you must meet all five requirements below. These ensure you have the education, experience, and competence to coach professionally.
Coaching Education
Complete at least 60 hours of coach-specific training
Coaching Experience
Log at least 100 hours of coaching experience (minimum 75 paid hours)
Mentor Coaching
Receive guidance from an experienced coach over at least 3 months
Performance Evaluation
Submit a recorded coaching session for review by ICF assessors
ACC Exam
Pass the computer-based credentialing exam administered by Pearson VUE
